Holiday Inspo From Designer Josh Young

We’ve been paging through Josh Young’s gorgeous and thoughtful design book “Artful Home” in which he chronicles his development of his five key aspects of decorating - palette, texture, form, layers and nostalgia.

He also writes about his love of the Christmas season from a young age saying he would “turn his bedroom into a little village. Paper wreaths were looped through red yarn and taped from one corner to another. A four-foot tree sat in the middle of the room, and vintage and handmade ornaments filled its branches.”

Young’s current-day aesthetic, on display at his Hunt country home “Sycamore House,” includes winter white flowers in silvery cups and a lovely hurricane. Great inspo for a classic and restrained holiday table.
