Under the Sea tree: our favorite ornaments that take you beneath the waves

We’ve had an oceanic fantasy of sorts in mind for a tree for 2025 that features all ornaments that are “under the sea.” From beluga whales and humpbacks to tortoises and rubber duckies (perhaps skimming the waves), a tree for the sea this season!

rengöra Orca Killer Whale Ornament

Beautiful and hand-painted - and if we do say so ourselves, this is one “killer” ornament for the tree.

BestPysanky Clownfish in Santa Hat Ornament

How cute is this clownfish in a Santa hat? Let it swim right onto your tree this year.

Old World Christmas Dolphin Ornament

Dolphins are known for swimming in pods - maybe several at once can “school” the holidays.

Cape Shore Manatee Mom and Baby Ornament

Created from a pretty grey resin, this momma manatee and baby are ready for the holidays, under the sea.

December Pets Santa Shark Ornament

Surprisingly, there a number of choices when it comes to ornaments with sharks and Santa. But only one ornament we’ve seen also includes Jolly St. Nick’s bag of presents!

Old World Christmas Hammerhead Shark Ornament

It’s hammer time! At least, hammerhead shark time. Elegance and cunning - in an Old World Christmas ornament.

Old World Christmas Humpback Whale Ornament

Humpback whales are the Kings of the ocean. Looks better on a larger tree unless you’re using it as a treetopper!

Old World Christmas Seagull Ornament

The sound and squawking of seagulls always tells us we’re near the beach - here’s the bird itself ready to alight on your tree.

Old World Christmas Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Ornament

Ships need guidance to come to shore - a perfect lighthouse ornament to guide them!

Old World Christmas Green Sea Turtle Ornament

Nothing slow about this friendly fellow - stands out and blends in at the same time.

Old World Christmas Stingray Ornament

We love the moment (spoiler alert years later) Moana’s grandmother glides through the ocean as a stingray. May this serene ornament glide right onto your tree.

Old World Christmas Oyster with Pearl Ornament

A real treasure of an ornament - the pearl in an oyster.

Old World Christmas Goldfish Ornament

From under the sea to into the fishbowl - the goldfish brings a spot of color and whimsy onto the branches. Very fishy.

Old World Christmas Octopus Globe Ornament

Whimsical octopus ornament wrapping its tentacles around the globe.

Kurt Adler Octopus Ornament

Another spin on the many-tentacled ornament - pair this with the Old World Christmas ornament above for an octopi duo for the season.

Beluga Whale Lights

Belugas are a lovely species of whale sailing through the sea, and this string of beluga whale lights could look lovely adorning your tree.
